Sweet Texas Romance
They say everything’s bigger in Texas, even the love stories. And they’re not just talking about the fairy-tale- romance-novel kind of love stories. They mean the real ones. Ruthie and Jon began their journey together as husband and wife in a beautifully warm, romantic venue located in Austin, Texas. Throughout the day and into the evening they were surrounded by loved ones and friends. Choosing to speak from their hearts, the couple decided to write their own vows. Family members were asked to read passages from The Bible, followed by a dear friend singing “Heavenly Day.” Sweet tears dripped from the eyes of both the Bride and Groom as they promised each other their future together forever.
Ruthie and Jon selected warm creams and oranges for the colors of their wedding and reception. The colors were incorporated throughout the flowers, centerpieces, and ambiance lighting. After the ceremony, the venue’s ballroom was transformed into a magnificent banquet hall and dance floor. In the center of each table manzita trees were draped with crystals and flowers and hanging candles. Orange uplighting lined ballroom, adding a warm glow to the reception.
Ruthie and Jon hoped to bring a splash of their vibrant personalities into their wedding day. They did so through their choice of music. After h’ourdeouvers, wine, cocktails, a delicious meal, and of course wedding cake, the guests spent hours upon hours dancing! From pop to hip hop to Frank Sinatra the guests never left the dance floor. Around 11:00pm, at the request of the Bride and Groom, mini hamburger “Sliders” were served to keep their guests’ energy up and feet dancing!
