Brides To Be | Wedding Lists – 3 last but not forgotten areas

Nearly every future bride has already pre-planned at least some of their wedding, they’ve been thinking about it for a life time. The colors have been picked out for years, even the bride has an idea of what she wants her dress and wedding theme to be based on all the magazines and weddings they’ve attended. So we thought we would help out with the items in planning a wedding that get the least attention but add to the overall ambience and success. Don’t scramble to get these ideas solidified, just ask a close friend, sister or professional to help plan in these areas to make your day perfect.

Don’t Forget To:

Get your wedding license

You’d be surprised how many couples neglect this responsibility heading into their big day. Oh it’s simple, we will do it and then it never gets done and they find themselves scrambling last minute to get it done. Along with this comes the ever important blood test. Just do it! Take it off your list of not fun things to be done that need doing before tying the knot. Securing  visas and passports if not secured fall into this list as well.

Secure a Wedding Venue and Rental Agent

Again you would be surprised how many calls Royalty Rentals receives prior to weddings ( 3 – 5 days in advance) of families looking to rent tables and chairs. Believe it or not, rental companies do run out of stock during the busy season, there are only so many weekends a year that can accomadate all the requests for equipment (tables, chairs and linens).  A good rule of thumb is to schedule out a month or two ahead of time to ensure you get exactly what you want to make your day perfect. Venues for weddings should be scheduled at least 5 to 6 months in advance or you may be holding your wedding at your 3rd or 4th choice location

Don’t Scramble, Plan Your Gifts Ahead of Time

The personalized and engraveable gifts take thought and planning. Rush orders are expensive and the last thing you need to worry about is whether of not your order will arrive on time. This is a perfect job for a close friend or family member to take off your plate. Think about the gifts you may want to give in and around these areas:

  • Personalized or engraved gifts
  • Gifts for each other
  • Gifts for parent and grand parents
  • Gifts for siblings
  • Gifts for the wedding party
  • Gifts for the Officiant
  • Gift for wedding planner to say thank you
  • Gifts for friends who helped out in the kitchen or serving

Why worry about these things when you can ask a friend or family member to support you. Find yourself a beautiful dress and pick out the tux that’s just right for the groom and leave the details to others.
